Isabel was born at Melbourne, Australia. Her father is Australian and her mother Swiss. She grew up with her family at Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town located in the Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Together with the help of her younger sister Nina they went to schools that included children of all races and ethnicities. Isabel is currently living within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama already during the time she was in school. In the following years, she studied at The Queensland University of Tech (Victorian College of Arts) and the Perdekamp Emotional Method. She never auditioned for roles until she was discovered through her agency in the year 2002. The role she was offered was in Home and Away, 1988. They thought she was not right for the role, however they were so impressed that they decided to make an entirely new role for Tasha. Isabel played for three years in her first TV role. She won the Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her performance. In 2008 Isabel was moved into Los Angeles. She made her breakthrough in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). Since then, she has appeared in many US as well as Australian productions, and received many awards. Isabel has recently starred in Bosh & Rockit, a movie that's fast becoming an Australian classic. She also acted in the forthcoming film Lunacy. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she's in the process of pre-production for the character of Marie Curie for Radiant. The film is directed by the award-winning Annika Glac.
